Pan Seared Brussel Sprouts
Butter sauteed and steamed to finish, these are tender but crisp!

Ingredients
fresh brussel sprouts (but in halves)
: 1 bag
butter
: 2 tbs
sea salt
: 1 tsp
Instructions
Step 1:
Melt butter in a 10 inch pan, do not let it get to hot and browned.
Step 2:
add the brussel sprouts with the center (inside that is exposed now from halving) on the bottom of pan
Step 3:
Let them cook in the butter about a minute and sprinkle with the salt.
Step 4:
With stop top heat at about medium add roughly 1/2-3/4 cups of water and cover with a lid
Step 5:
Allow the water to steam up for 3 minutes reduce to low
Step 6:
Ideally you want the water to FULLY evaporate. Then cook for another 2-3 minutes with no lid on on medium high to brown the bottoms a little
Step 7:
IF desired add a little more butter and give a little toss around in that.
Step 8:
Remove from heat, these should be easy to smoosh down with a fork, the softer the better!!
